CPM Rates and Revenue
Because our philosophy is to serve an ad with revenue potential to each and every visitor every time (no PSA’s no Defaults), it’s impossible for us to predict what sort of CPM rate or what type of revenue an individual publisher can earn. There are simply too many variables and for that reason, Adtegrity.com Publisher Relations Managers can not estimate or quote CPM rates and revenue figures.
What we can tell you is this: unique visitors are highly valued by advertisers, whereas once that visitor has been served, their value goes down. It certainly doesn’t mean we can’t serve an ad to that visitor, it simply means that the visitor has less value to the advertiser and the rates will be lower.
For many other networks, once the value of any visitor dips below a certain level, they begin to serve PSA’s and defaults; those types of ads earn you zero revenue and have absolutely no revenue potential. In fact, most of the time these types of ads aren’t even factored into the CPM a network posts to you, allowing them to post artificially higher rates. Instead, Adtegrity.com serves ads that pay out on user actions (clicks and conversions) and when those ads click or convert they pay VERY well. That puts money in your pocket and makes for a happy advertiser.
All this means that Adtegrity.com is monetizing all your traffic, not selecting the best and leaving the rest unsold. In our experience, many networks that offer a big CPM rate up front are buying only your unique USA traffic and leaving the rest unsold. We think that’s unacceptable.
