Adtegrity.com Reports Improved Revenues, Return to Profitability in 2001
GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan – (PRNEWSWIRE VIA COMTEX)-Wednesday, February 20, 2002 – Adtegrity.com (Pink Sheets: ADTY), a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based company specializing in Internet advertising networks and services, today continued to buck industry trends by reporting increased revenues and a return to profitability for 2001.
The Company reported net income of $118,417 on net revenues of $3.8 million for the year ended December 31, 2001 compared to a net loss of $671,950 on net revenues of $3.6 million for 2000. Adtegrity.com said the increased revenue and profitable performance reflect the expansion of its web site publisher network and significant opt-in e-mail campaign activity, particularly in the burgeoning pay-for-performance advertising market.
By the end of 2001, Adtegrity’s network had grown to over 200 sites in valuable vertical markets such as entertainment, business/finance and women- oriented sites. Third- and fourth-quarter clients included MasterCard, Orbitz and Network Solutions, among others.
“Our 2001 results are a direct reflection of our commitment to providing exceptional bottom-line driven campaigns for our clients while controlling costs,” said Adtegrity.com President and CEO, Scott Brew. “As our 2001 performance demonstrated, there is opportunity in our industry for companies willing to stay focused and commit to only those programs and resources that add genuine value.”
Adtegrity.com is currently the sixth largest online network in the industry, now delivering over 500 million ad impressions per month. The Company has survived industry downturns to remain one of the few profitable online advertising networks in operation, serving over four billion ads in 2001.
Adtegrity.com said it expects new network partnerships with L90 and other industry leaders to make significant contributions to revenue. The Company announced an agreement in December with Los Angeles-based L90, an online media and direct marketing company, that allows L90 to sell into the Adtegrity.com network of entertainment, business and finance, women and computer/IT vertical markets.
Additionally, in the fourth quarter of 2001 Adtegrity.com completed the development of an internal opt-in e-mail generation program capable of offering clients a range of new services and data resources. The proprietary system utilizes pop-up windows that let users opt-in to receive Internet based e-mail on specific topics, products and services.
