TAG takes over QAG. Adtegrity among early list of compliant companies.
Founded only last year, the Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG) has hit the ground running. On Tuesday, the group, known for their efforts to combat the most prominent issues plaguing the digital advertising industry today, announced their new responsibility: managing the Quality Assurance Guidelines (QAG), formerly run by the IAB. With new management comes a slight rebranding; TAG has renamed the QAG program as the Inventory Quality Guidelines (IQG) - a name they feel is more suited toward the mission of the program. This name change will take effect in Q3 of this year.
The early list of companies who have agreed to participate in the Business Transparency Compliance Program show initiative and a dedication to inventory transparency within the industry. Adtegrity proudly continues to be a part of this list, self-certifying our compliance under the QAG 2.0.
Companies who voluntarily self-certify their compliance with the QAG 2.0 (soon to be IQG 2.1) adhere to rigorous industry standards of disclosures regarding their inventory transparency. These industry standards, which provide a shared framework to disclose the characteristics of advertising inventory, foster an environment of trust in the digital advertising marketplace.
