Operation Spotlight winners for Q2 2012 announced!

Grand Rapids, Mich., July 11, 2012 - Grand Rapids-based Adtegrity, a national leader in Internet advertising, today announced the second round of winners of Operation Spotlight - a program through which local businesses and non-profits can win a three-month online advertising campaign. Grand Rapids eatery Maggie's Kitchen and non-profit MomsBloom were selected to receive creative development and online advertising placement services through the next quarter.

Maggie's Kitchen is a local family-owned restaurant known for its authentic Mexican cuisine. The casual café features an award-winning menu specializing in fare from the Michoacàn region of Mexico. The restaurant will use the locally-focused advertising campaign to raise awareness of its Bridge Street location, as well as to drive traffic to its Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Maggies-Kitchen/111676605536444

"Most of our customers come in because they have heard about us from other people," said restaurant owner Luis Ramirez. "We're excited to have another way to spread the word."

MomsBloom, a parent support organization, serves approximately 200 families in need each year, providing weekly assistance with a variety of tasks or chores, connections to other parents and resources, and education that gives moms the confidence to make their own choices about raising children.

"MomsBloom is grateful for this amazing opportunity to highlight our organization and shine a spotlight on the many volunteers who are making a positive difference for families in our community," said Sara Binkley-Tow, co-founder and executive director of MomsBloom. "It will also bring awareness to the importance of providing practical help and emotional support to growing families facing times of transition."

The campaign includes art direction and creative for a display advertisement and insertion into Adtegrity's online advertising distribution system. Adtegrity and the Operation Spotlight panel of West Michigan celebrity judges are looking forward to seeing this latest pair of recipients benefit from the online advertising and promotional campaigns, valued at over $20,000 per winner.

Nominations for Operation Spotlight are made on the designated section of the Adtegrity Facebook page. The panel of judges meets once every quarter to select the winners based on several factors, including the number of votes an organization receives, the need and justification for the nomination, and how the campaign might positively impact the organization.
