GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Feb. 15, 2012) - Grand Rapids-based Adtegrity, a national leader in Internet advertising, today announced the panel of West Michigan judges for Operation Spotlight, a program through which local businesses and non-profits could win a complete online advertising campaign.
The panel consists of notable West Michigan community leaders, including Diana Sieger, president of the Grand Rapids Community Foundation; Nancy Boese, business tools specialist for the Michigan Small Business Technology and Development Council; Rosalynn Bliss, Grand Rapids Second Ward City Commissioner; Chip Brown, senior vice president and publisher for bibles at Zondervan; Executive Director of Local First West Michigan Elissa Hillary; and local entrepreneur and business consultant Bill Holsinger-Robinson. "West Michigan has a myriad of innovative businesses and non-profits," said Holsinger-Robinson, former president of Pomegranate Studios, a business incubator responsible for launching novel projects such as ArtPrize and 5x5 Night. "Operation Spotlight is a great program, and I'm excited to work with Adtegrity to acknowledge and give back to some of the hardworking and creative organizations in the area." Each quarter, Adtegrity and the panel of judges will select one deserving local non-profit and one local business, supplying the winners with an online advertising and promotional campaign valued at over $20,000 per winner. The campaign includes art direction and creative for a display advertisement and insertion into Adtegrity's online advertising system for distribution. Nominations are made on the designated section of the Adtegrity Facebook page, and other users can vote for an organization by "liking" that post.
"We're grateful to have a panel of judges comprised of some of the most influential and involved leaders in West Michigan," said Scott Brew, CEO and president of Adtegrity. "Their combined expertise and commitment to this community brings exceptional insight and support to this program." The panel of judges will select winners based on multiple factors, including the number of nominations and votes an organization receives, the need and justification for the nomination and how the campaign can positively impact the organization.
