Adtegrity.com Posts Strong Second-Quarter Profit On 28 Percent Increase In Revenue 2001

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan-(LAMBERT, EDWARDS & ASSOCIATES, INC.)-Tuesday, August 07, 2001- GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, August 7, 2001 – Adtegrity.com (Pink Sheets: ADTY), a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based company specializing in Internet advertising networks and services, today reported a significant increase in second-quarter revenues and a return to profitability.

The Company reported net income of $258,300 on net revenues of $1.2 million in the second quarter ended June 30, 2001 compared to a net loss of $132,899 on net revenues of $940,751 during the second quarter of last year. The recent results also mark significant gains over the 2001 first quarter, when Adtegrity.com posted a net loss of $260,100 on net revenue of $570,668.

The company credited the turnaround to an expansion into new client marketing services in addition to growth in Adtegrity.com’s core business of serving ads over its web site network. The Company’s newly developed capabilities include permission-based e-mail campaigns and other performance-based programs aimed at increasing a company’s tangible return on their Internet advertising investment.

“Many of our peers are struggling with high overhead and inflexible business models. Adtegrity.com has remained lean and highly adaptable – two traits that are vital for success in the world of Internet advertising – and the results are evident in our bottom line,” said Scott Brew, President and CEO
Adtegrity.com’s new capabilities helped the company attract new business and expand opportunities with existing clients during the second quarter. In June, the Company announced an agreement with the Internet’s second-largest consumer-to-consumer marketplace, BargainAndHaggle.com, to provide banners and other display advertising, as well as targeted e-newsletter sponsorship campaigns through the end of 2001.

Total ads served on Adtegrity.com’s network of original content web sites increased 51% over the quarter ended March 30, 2001, resulting in approximately 1.2 billion ads served.

“Our strong second quarter reflects the success we have realized in growing our business beyond traditional banner advertising services. While those services remain an important part of what we do, Adtegrity.com has been working hard over the past year to develop new resources and skill sets, particularly in the areas of e-mail and cost-per-action (CPA) campaigns,” Brew said. “At the same time we have continued to add value to our unique network of sites, while controlling costs. We are better-positioned than ever to deliver flexible, effective solutions for the many companies now looking to the Internet for a tangible return on their advertising dollar.”

Adtegrity.com’s success comes as many in the online adverting industry are posting deep losses and struggling to adjust to changes in the market. At the same time, the overall market for Internet advertising is projected for rapid and sustained growth. According to consulting firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers, online advertising remains the fastest growing ad medium in history, and industry watchdog eMarketer projects over $10 billion in Internet-related ad spending in 2002.
