By combining several layers of automated scanning and human interaction we keep your brand safe while still providing the traction you need with fresh new content as it comes into our system. • Human URL Screening – Our ad server reports back with every URL that requests an advertisement. Each of these URLs are screened by an Adtegrity.com staff member for both theme and content. URLs are rated and placed into vertical content channels to provide the first step in brand safety as well as pinpoint targeting capability. We call these URLs Validated URLs or VURLs.
• Automated Deep Site Scanning – Our brand-safe efforts don’t stop once a VURL has been rated. Each VURL deemed œbrand-safe  is crawled by our automated system, looking for questionable content and flagging it in the system so it can be re-evaluated and, if necessary, have its grade adjusted or be removed from the system completely.
• Malware Protection – Malware continues to be a problem on the web, and in response, the Brand-Safe Network incorporates malware scanning for all brand-safe sites on a monthly basis. Not only does this provide an extra level of protection for visitors in general but more importantly it gives you peace of mind, knowing your brand isn’t on a site that’s infected and causing end user problems.
• VURL Targeting – Choose to target by rating, channel or a combination of both. Each VURL in the system is assigned a unique ID. We can target that ID exclusively as part of your targeting template, effectively creating a sub-network of URLs on the Adtegrity.com network for your campaigns.
• Control – The Brand-Safe Network is updated weekly with new VURLs that are subjected to the same stringent screening process. Brand-Safe sites can be added automatically to your targeting template or you can choose to approve them yourself. With the Brand-Safe Network, you’re in control.
